E3 Ranch to E3 Restaurant
From ranch to restaurant, the all-natural beef served at the E3 Chophouse comes straight from the E3 Ranch, owned and operated by Adam and Jenn LaRoche, located in Fort Scott, Kansas.
Many patrons are curious about the origin of the E3 name. Adam, a major league first baseman for twelve years, developed the logo as a spoof to his baseball career. In baseball, positions are numbered, with the first base designated the “3,” and even though he won a gold glove for his defensive skills, Adam humbly added the “E” --meaning “Error” --to the ranch name.
The LaRoche’s pride themselves on raising hormone-free, steroid-free and antibiotic-free E3 Black Angus cattle and are excited to now add Nashville, Tennessee, as a second dining location where they will bring their healthy beef to the locals and visitors. The flagship restaurant, located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (home to brothers Jeff and Andy LaRoche), opened in 2013 and continues to serve as a model for the Nashville Chophouse. Jeff continues to oversee the workings of the E3 beef business as well as the operations of both restaurants.
Award-winning country singers Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan-- all who became friends with Adam while filming their popular hunting show, Buck Commander--will be partnering with the LaRoche’s in the Nashville restaurant. Bryan is credited with rocketing the E3 logo to fame after wearing the signature hat to his sold-out concerts.
The Nashville E3 Chophouse is eager to follow in the footsteps of its Steamboat counterpart by bringing a new type of culinary dining experience to its patrons. Look for its grand opening sometime in the fall of 2019.
