Ingredients
- 24 ounces E3 Steak Tips
- 1 1/2 tsp Steak Seasoning
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 red onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 lb cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bag of baby carrots
- 5 red baby potatoes
- 1/2 cup + 3 TBSP flour
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Place the cubed meat in a large bowl. Toss the meat with the 3 TBSP flour and 1 1/2 tsp E3 Steak Seasoning. In a large dutch oven, heat the oil and add the floured meat in one layer. Cook, stirring and turning the pieces often, for about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan add in the butter, garlic and onions. Saute the onions on medium-high heat until tender. Add in the carrots, potatoes, celery and mushrooms. Saute for another 5-7 minutes. Toss in the remaining 1/2 cup of flour and use your spatula to scrape up any browned bits at the bottom of the pan. Pour in the wine and stir until the mixture boils and thickens. Stir in the beef broth and remaining ingredients. Cover closely and simmer for one hour. Serve warm.
